NEW YORK, October 25, 2022 - Pioneer in voice-based tonal analysis, Helios Life Enterprises, was hand selected out of thousands of applicants by TechCrunch editorial staff to compete in the Startup Battlefield 200. The team attended the October 18-20 event in San Francisco, competed among 199 other startups and was named an Honoree to the event.
Helios’ Head of Technology - Mike Martin - noted, “We are thrilled to be recognized as a Startup Battlefield 200 honoree at TechCrunch Disrupt. We had a blast sharing our story with so many smart founders, researchers and investors. There was an incredible amount of interest and excitement about the future of voice tone analytics.”
Helios is paving the future of voice technology via tonal data and intelligence. This is not NLP or text sentiment analysis. It is AI that is purely based on the audio behind voice tones. Our technology interprets nuances in a person’s voice - via audio - and can detect if there is a discordance between word choice and tone of voice - among several other use cases.
Tone of voice is as important as language and text. Tone is the number one passive indicator of what someone is thinking and accounts for nearly 40% of human communication; while only 7% is attributed to word choice and 55% to body language. By incorporating tonal AI with NLP technology, a more comprehensive understanding can be drawn in any given situation.
We are incredibly excited to be recognized by TechCrunch among so many creative and innovative startups. A huge thank you to the TechCrunch team for a great event. To learn more about the companies, check out TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield 200 Listing Page.
